Over time the markings on glass Measuring cups and other glass cups get washed out from washing.

A good paint to restore them is red nail polish.  It sticks to glass.

Use masking tape to create lines. 

Let it dry and then reinforce with clear nail polish.

I have an engraver that I use first but that's not necessary.
