Yeah, spent plenty of time in Melbourne during my 20 years in the RAAF.
Settled in Perth on the other side when I got out, much to dad's disgust :happyno

I've never been to Hove, I've been to Brighton a couple of times though. You're right it is a small world my wife's daughter is living in Melbourne now.

Was looking at your profile and we are nearly the same age.

I was born in Hove, Sussex and my dad was a bobby in Kent.

We emigrated to Australia in 1958 as "Ten Pound Poms", when I was 6, so only have faint memories of England.
