I picked up this Elenos ETG1000 1000W FM Broadcast Transmitter up for a song because it was  faulty.
No RF output what so ever.

Working ones go for €1500 >to> €3500 on ebay.

Repairs of these units are carried out by specialized repair shops and normally very expensive.
luckily for me I have a workshop, all the equipment and experience to service this TX.

Found the problem on the Driver Board.

The ERA=5 and BLF404 were both faulty, now replaced.

Powered it up and - BINGO RF output, loads of it  :yes 

The cost of parts = €17  :vip 

Great bargain and well done for fixing it too  :thumbup
