Title: Radio Brian's antenna - new guy wires
Post by: BriansBrain on 22.05.2023, 12:58
 :whistle

After 4 years of salty air the original galvanized steel
guy wires and fittings needed replacing.

So I had to take him off air for three hours the other day.
I also chose a cloudy day to do the job so it would not be too hot  :)

Now all stainless steel.  :thumbsup

Note the pile of 12 x 460W Solar panels next to the TX room
that will be the next job   ;)

Good job Sir  :thumbsup

Off topic I know  :)
But my Dad had one of those do-it yourself brick making moulds.
Here are a few of them, with an old bike I was repairing at the time  ::)
