Just in case you don't know the letters ' CE ' appear on many products that are traded on the single market in the European Economic Area ( EEA ). The CE marking is required for many products because it: shows that the manufacturer has checked these products meet EU safety, health or environmental requirements.
In contrast to that China has a CE mark also, which stands for 'China Export'
But how can you tell them apart. Look at the attached image that shows you how.
It's important you know this for safety reasons, as the Chinese items rarely conform the European safety standards.
Stay safe and buy from UK or the EU.

Proving that some of us read this stuff :)
Just checked for this post after buying a cheapish USB hub in Lidl,
thinking it might have been a cheapo Chinese (possibly exploding) one?
All good :thumbsup
Thanks for this!
Thank you for that, something I never knew. :thumbsup
