Title: Accessing the forum using a tablet or Ipad

When I'm using my Galaxy Tab A (Android) or Ipad (Apple) I can't access this site.

What I get is an error code 403 Forbidden. Access to this resource on the server is denied.

I have to use my PC to connect. My PC is ancient. The Android is only a few years old.

If your Android is connected to your home connection, the same as your PC, then it's a setting on your tablet that's causing the issue. If it's connected via a SIM card then it's possible it's the IP address or it could still be the browser settings. It's also possible that your Android/iPad is try to connect via http instead of https.

It's strange because I don't have trouble accessing any other sites with my tablets.  It's only this one.

The 403 Forbidden Error happens when the web page (or another resource) that you're trying to open in your web browser is a resource that you're not allowed to access. It's called a 403 error because that's the HTTP status code that the webserver uses to describe that kind of error.

You usually get this error for one of two reasons. The first is that the owners of the webserver have properly set up access permissions and that you're really not allowed access to the resource. The second reason is that the owners of the webserver have improperly set up permissions and you're getting denied access when you really shouldn't be.

Well anyway now I can access this forum from my Android tablet by just going to https://www.quizland.co.uk and leaving off the /index.php?topic=6682.0

This will now be more fun.  I can post pictures from my tablet. Thanks Dave.
