On a TV quiz show recently there was the following question:
Since 1940, what percentage of new jobs in the United States have been created?
Answers to choose from:
2%, 25% or 60%.
I'll leave it for a bit to see who, if anyone, replies.
Mmm, Well having a guess i can't see it being just 2%,25% is only a quarter of the population, which still feels low
i think its gotta be 60% dave
New jobs? Such as computer jobs as a category?
I'll say 2%. Most of the other jobs have existed since 1940.
Someone dies or retires? Is a new job created or is the old job just filled again.
It's kind of a trick question.
Cubby is correct with 60%.
Information technology accounts for around 40% of the increase
Great. But the percentage rate number of unemployed hasn't changed much
