Before Christmas Shirl asked me what I want and I said something to build, like Airfix or similar, but not anything to do with the war.

The pictures below are the ROKR sets that she bought me

This is the small one. This was a very fiddley build with small parts I actually broke one piece as it was so delicate

Number of pieces: 84

Now the big one

This was easier to build than the small one as the parts were bigger and stronger

Number of Pieces: 168

I really enjoyed building those and on the basis of that, I've decide I'm going to start building Lego type things again. I have found out that the same type of bricks/blocks/components, that are compatible with Lego, are available on Amazon for a fraction of the price of the Lego ones, so I've just ordered loads of stuff. What I build I'll post here.

I also found out that the Lego Mindstorms Robot kits I bought back in around 2016, which I still have 2 of them , I paid just over £200 for are now worth more than £400, not that I'll be selling them, but I was surprised to see that as I thought the price would have gone down not up. I don't have the boxes for them but I do have the building instructions etc

That's fantastic Dave. I never saw a kit like that before. Delicate for sure.

I'm impressed. I used to build plane models when I was about 12 or 13 . Now it's mostly repairs to everything.
