How can you delete a recent post that you are working on and start over?

The short answer is you cannot delete the first post in a topic but you now can delete posts you've created after that.

The default settings for the first post are locked in and I cannot change that, but I have just enabled the option for members to delete a post they've created after the first post, you cannot delete someone else's posts either.

If you need a first post removing just let me or one of the other Admin know and we'll do it for you 


You can always Edit/Modify it Camper. Bottom right side are some buttons that allow you do do that, just click on the 'More' button to see the 'Modify' button which will allow you to change the title of the post as well as the content or use the 'Quick edit' which just allows you to change some text in the post.
