Fruit fly invasion

I had a huge fruit fly invasion. I couldn't even have a glass of beer in comfort.

So I went on the internet to find a solution.  You simply have to find the source of where they are breeding.  Eventually I traced it down to a bag in which I was storing crushed beer cans for recycling.  We get 10 cents a can.

Anyway they also recommended making traps which are basically a glass with beer in it and covered with saran wrap with a hole in it.  The flies enter the hole but can't find their way out. It works.  I'll post a picture of it later.
